Clinton Campaign-Bashing Obama

Shocking! This made my mouth drop when I heard this Clinton supporter, Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, clearly speaking as “we”, meaning the Clinton Campaign. This was on MSNBC yesterday morning.

Clinton Ex-Campaign Manager Backs Obama!

An aide to Barack Obama says the man who led former President Clinton’s 1992 bid plans to endorse the Illinois senator. ….the announcement would be made public later in the day.

Clinton & Giuliani; Similar Endings

Clinton & Giuliani; Similar Endings

Today, ABC News Jennifer Parker wrote a story called, Clinton’s Path to Nomination Clouded. The following excerpt is from that story:

Her campaign is arguing she never expected to win in these states. It is counting on big wins in delegate-rich Ohio and Texas voting on March 4, and Pennsylvania voting April 22, to move her delegate count forward and stop Obama’s momentum.

Hmmmmm! It kind of sounds like Giuliani’s plan with Florida and we all know how well that worked out! Hillary is desperate and is going for the larger delegate states, exactly like Rudy did. How can she expect different results? Desperate times call for desperate measures. In the last week she has loaned her campaign $5 million dollars, lost two of her top campaign leaders, and lost eight states to Obama. I wonder if she will try and cry her way out of this one. Next weeks primaries in Hawaii and Wisconsin don’t look to be in her favor either. What’s a girl to do?

If she is as smart as everyone say’s she is then she will give it up with some dignity. No, she hasn’t even congratulated Barack on his eight straight primary victories. Kind of rude wouldn’t you say? I would think losing money, losing primary elections, losing leaders in your campaign, kind of make you a LOSER. Don’t worry Hillary, there always next time!

NOW Attacks Obama’s Voting Record on Abortion Bills

NOW Again Attacks Obama’s Illinois Voting Record on Abortion Bills

The Washington Post

A national women’s rights group supporting Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) distributed an e-mail yesterday accusing Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) of being soft on abortion rights, revisiting an eleventh-hour attack that some analysts credited with swaying female voters in New Hampshire. The e-mail from Rosemary J. Dempsey, president of the Connecticut National Organization for Women, told members that Obama’s record during his time in the Illinois Senate included several instances in which he voted “present” instead of yes or no on abortion-related legislation.

The e-mail quotes Bonnie Grabenhofer, the president of Illinois NOW, as saying that “voting present on those bills was a strategy that Illinois NOW did not support,” and adding: “We made it clear at the time that we disagreed with the strategy. . . . Voting present doesn’t provide a platform from which to show leadership and say with conviction that we support a woman’s right to choose and these bills are unacceptable.”

NOW has done it!

This article was published by New York chapter of NOW, (National Organization for Women) and I read it at POLITICO

NOW has done a lot for women but, this time they missed the mark and dare I say it, the “Biased opinion” is extremely obvious. Read it and weep ladies!

“Women have just experienced the ultimate betrayal. Senator Kennedy’s endorsement of Hillary Clinton’s opponent in the Democratic presidential primary campaign has really hit women hard. Women have forgiven Kennedy, stuck up for him, stood by him, hushed the fact that he was late in his support of Title IX, the ERA, the Family Leave and Medical Act to name a few. Women have buried their anger that his support for the compromises in No Child Left Behind and the Medicare bogus drug benefit brought us the passage of these flawed bills. We have thanked him for his ardent support of many civil rights bills, BUT women are always waiting in the wings.

“And now the greatest betrayal! We are repaid with his abandonment! He’s picked the new guy over us. He’s joined the list of progressive white men who can’t or won’t handle the prospect of a woman president who is Hillary Clinton (they will of course say they support a woman president, just not “this” one). ‘They’ are Howard Dean and Jim Dean (Yup! That’s Howard’s brother) who run DFA (that’s the group and list from the Dean campaign that we women helped start and grow). They are Alternet, Progressive Democrats of America, democrats.com, Kucinich lovers and all the other groups that take women’s money, say they’ll do feminist and women’s rights issues one of these days, and conveniently forget to mention women and children when they talk about poverty or human needs or America’s future or whatever.

“This latest move by Kennedy, is so telling about the status of and respect for women’s rights, women’s voices, women’s equality, women’s authority and our ability – indeed, our obligation – to promote and earn and deserve and elect, unabashedly, a President that is the first woman after centuries of men who ‘know what’s best for us.’”

Please don’t include me as “us” in this betrayal of women. The last I checked , we (women) have the intelligence and ability to elect a candidate that is qualified to run this country. And it may not be (Billary) a woman!

Is Bill Clinton Going Too Far?

Vanity Fair say’s Bill Clinton is running for a third term.

That’s right folks. We might as well start calling it what it is because the TRUTH is that Tricky Willie is back in full force. What’s different this time is Hillary is along for the ride. Has anyone else noticed that she is talking softer on interview shows since her “teary” episode at NH(click link to see video)? I have also read in two different articles today the Clinton duo is being compared to STALIN! It’s not that much of a stretch if you think about it…Universal Health Care, etc. Anyway, here is what Bruce Feirstein, writer for Vanity Fair has to say about our ‘happy’ couple:

“Watching the Democrats debate in South Carolina, I was struck by the heated “I’m here. He’s not” exchange between Senators Obama and Clinton because it so perfectly encapsulates the problem with the two Clintons: Bill is out there with a shiv-presumably with the full countenance of his wife-while Hillary deftly manages to avoid being held accountable for him, or taking any responsibility herself. And therein lies my real issue, should this hydra-headed candidacy succeed: Bill Clinton will always be there. He’ll always be larger than life. And, if the last few weeks have demonstrated anything, we’ll never know who’s really calling the shots.
From where I sit in California, where Senator Clinton is currently ahead in the polls, Bill Clinton’s behavior over the past fortnight has struck me as sordid and undignified. And his de facto back-door attempt to retake the presidency is nothing short of unseemly.
We are not Argentina. We are not a banana republic. No CEO, no prime minister, no one in any public position, anywhere on this earth, could get away with a straight-faced claim that “I honestly believe my wife is the best candidate for the job.” Were it not so sad that we’ve arrived at this juncture in American politics, it would be laughable.”
What can I say? There is hope for this country yet. Vanity Fair is usually a supporter of the Democrats. Hmmmmmm!

Interesting Numbers from the Iowa Caucuses

This is absolutely incredible.

This was sent to me in an email so I do not know the source. I went to my own source to research the accuracy of these numbers. See below for the results. Please see the last comment from ‘thegreatgeno’ for an explanation of these results and my comment to him. Thank you ‘to ‘thegreatgeno’ for educating me on the delegates vs. the actual votes.

Here are some interesting numbers from the Iowa Caucuses.

If you listened to the Main Stream Media, there was a TERRIFIC TURNOUT

for Democrats at the Iowa Caucuses AND MAJOR CHANGE is in the wind.

All FOUR of the TOP Republican Candidates EACH

exceeded the TOTAL NUMBER OF VOTES CAST for

ALL Democrats.?

In fact, it appears that NO Democrats even bothered

to show up in Nine of the 1781 Iowa Precincts.

All 1781 Precincts reported Republican votes.?

THERE WERE ALMOST 9 TIMES THE NUMBER

OF VOTES CAST IN THE REPUBLICAN CAUCUSES

VERSES THE DEMOCRAT CAUCUSES.

WHY DIDN’T THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA REPORT

THESE NUMBERS? THEY WOULDN’T BE BIASED

WOULD THEY? THEY WOULDN’T BE AFRAID

THIS WOULD MAKE DEMOCRATS LOOK BAD

WOULD THEY?

These are the results from the NYT 2008 Results

I’m not sure I understand but, the Republican Results are exactly the same as posted in the email I received above! Hmmmmm?!
